Please note: Chromebook, Andriod and Galaxy Tablets are unsuitable for the college environment. These devices require applications that are blocked by Education Queensland. Brisbane Bayside State Collage Reccomends Windows 11 laptops, but we do support Macbooks and Ipads. It is recommended to have a waterproof laptop case to safely store student devices. |

Since 2020 Brisbane Bayside State College has operated, a whole school Bring
Your Own Device (BYOD) program. BYOD engages the digital generation by nurturing
individual learning experiences and 21st Century Skills.
If you are in need of a BYOD device, you can find the best device for your child through our curated BYOD portal, all devices listed under "reccommended" will meet the digital requirements of connecting to the EQ network

The above portal is reccomended as we have a working relationship with the business itself and they have a very reputable name across Brisbane; both with professionals and enthusiasts. They also have 3 locations with repair shops located throughout Brisbane.
If you wish to purchase through a different platform please follow the following specifications otherwise your device may not connect to the EQ network used in all public schools across Queensland
